The Stroop test can be termed as the tool to measure a person's selective attention capacity and skills, processing speed, along with the other tests to evaluate overall executive processing abilities.

The reason for the difficulty in the Stroop test:

The Stroop test is challenging for us because of the confusion and chaos created by the different words and meanings of it. For example, the word blue is written with red color creates difficulty because we are so used to processing the word meaning while ignoring the physical features of the words.

How it can be performed:

It requires the individuals to list out the words that had a different meaning and were written with different colors.
