Two months post the London declaration because of a dramatic meeting that took place between President Roosevelt and Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Post that on 14th August 1941, President Roosevelt and Prime Minister Churchill were in a conference “Somewhere in the Sea” and in the same sea when the battle of Atlantic took place. On the same day, the two leaders of the world issued a joint declaration which went on to be known as the name of “The Atlantic Charter”.  

This speech consisted of eight points which were known as eight clauses. These clauses were formed in order to bear directly on world organization.
