"But, good as this record is, may I emphasize it isn’t enough. A record is never something to stand on. It’s something to build on. And in building on this record, I believe that we have the secret for progress, we know the way to progress." How is Nixon using logos to convince his audience?

Nixon is actually using pathos because the American audience sympathizes with him and his struggles. He has made things work- so he should be the one to fix it.

Nixon is explaining that everything is on the government. The government knows how to solve problems, and Americans should not be involved.

Nixon is using logos by explaining that while they have made excellent changes, they still need to move forward. But because they have been successful, they know how to continue to do so.

All of the above.
