English Literature Sonnet Poem Can someone help me by just reading this and seeing what I could add into it?

(Verse 1) Summer days spent without a thought of what was to come
Endless days of laughter and fun
No comprehension of time , it was as though we lived - through several lifetimes
Nothing lasts forever , shattered dreams , you left behind

(Verse 2) standing at the window
Wondering whether I should call
Day turns to night , summer to fall
Many months passed no sign of you at all
Deep down I had known it was just memories
I know I could not return , not just yet

(Verse 3) But I see the world so different know
[missing line because I don’t know what to put here]
And love is proved in the letting go
Would it be okay if I come back home to you?
