Sometimes, yes. If I got all the information in the universe, I would be quite unhappy since I would know about all the terrible things in life. Also, having plenty of information might mean you do not open yourself up to new things and new opportunities.

It actually depends on your situation if "too much knowledge" is dangerous or not.Showing off that knowledge to anyone and anywhere at all the places can be dangerous because it does attract envy. Sometimes knowledge can be a bad thing, especially when it comes to exact remembering of certain things. A new study found adults did better remembering pictures of imaginary animals than they did remembering pictures of real cats. The results show how some types of memory might be better when people forget what they know and instead approach a subject with a child-like sense of naïveté. Similarly, a lot of knowledge is also not dangerous but thinking that I know a lot can make you complacent.People with lots of knowledge(AKA Genius) also can be very helpful in the real world.Genius can give the world different view of the world, make new things that can help the world in many ways, Also tend to make new discoveries. For example, Aryabhatta made the concept of zero and made numbers higher than 1018. He also made the calculations of pi. Another Example is Galileo Galilei. He played a key role in establishing scientific revolution. My Last Example is Leonardo da Vinci. He was the first person to dissect a human body. He also helped us to invent things like tanks, parachutes, helicopters etc. He also is a famous artist, painter and musician. He's one of the known paintings is of Mona Lisa and many are displayed in museums, art galleries etc.He also can write backwards(so can I)
