Write a story which begins with two people waiting for someone

(I'm big into writing but I can't write a real story so here's just the beginning. Almost like a prompt)

It's almost been an hour and I'm getting sick of standing here. She always does this to me and every time I'm even more embarrassed than the last. Though, I don't know why; I'm here alone. Still, my cheeks get hot and I pretend I have important things to do on my phone.

"Just me and you still, huh?"

I nearly jump out of my skin. A girl sits by the doors, her legs curled to the side. I didn't know she was there. Has she been here this whole time? "Yeah, guess so," I say with a shrug.

"I'm waiting for my brother. It's his first time picking me up and he's gonna be fired when we get home," she giggles.

I sit down in front of her, crossing my legs, "My mom is always late to pick me up."

We sit for a couple more minutes, silent. She flips over her phone in her hands when it dings. It's not exactly good news. She rolls her eyes, "He seriously took a nap and just woke up."

"Well, at least you know he's gonna be coming."

She stands, getting ready to go, "My name is Morgan. You may not have noticed me but I'm in your chemistry class."

I smile, "'Name's Kylee." She's right, I haven't noticed her. Being one of the popular girls, I don't get to know many people.

"Text your mom that you have a ride. You shouldn't have to sit here any longer." I nod, taking out my phone. Something tells me not to go with her, but I'm sick of waiting. I send the text.
