Re-read the short story "The Best Bedroom in Brooklyn" by Carol Snyder. Then read the short story "Geraldine the Poet" by Toni Cade Bambara.

Both Snyder and Bambara use dialogue in their short stories. Use evidence from both passages to write a literary analysis essay in which you analyze how the dialogue in each of these short stories reveals aspects of the characters and contributes to the themes expressed in the stories.
