Michael Jordan is a gifted basketball player. Leonardo DiCaprio is a gifted actor. Selena was a gifted singer. Albert Einstein was a gifted scientist. Maya Angelou is a gifted poet. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a gifted speaker and leader. Can people with such disparate talents all be called gifted? They can if you believe there are myriad of ways for people to be smart, just as there are many different types of people.
