Q 1. Grammar: Read the following text: 10 x 2 = 20 Marks
I have been searching a suitable text for Final Examination over the past week. I am
writing in response to the instruction of ACC. We may know many ways to ask questions in
English. It is important to understand the situation when deciding how to ask questions. In
other words, is the question I want to ask a polite request? Would you like to confirm
information you already you know? Am I gathering details about a subject or a person? All
these will determine what type of question I need to make. So, let us learn how to make
questions and respond to a question. The students will work in pair, won't they? The topic
will be reviewed, modified and assigned by the instructor. If you have any questions prior
to the final submission, please let me know.
Now from the text/passage, give one example of:
i) Present Simple Tense. ii) Future Simple Tense.
iii) Present Progressive Tense.
iv) Present Perfect Progressive Tense.
v) Passive Voice in Future Simple Tense.
