Kris lives in Baton Rouge. She went to visit her cousin who lives in Denver, Colorado, and she cooked a beef stew for dinner. Kris cooked the stew by boiling the meat, potatoes, and vegetables.
She was surprised when the stew took longer to cook than it did when she was at home. Why did
