Compare the character Ra’s Al Ghul in Batman with the new Ms. Marvel. How are these two characters similar and/or different?

The characters Ra's Al Ghul in Batman and the new Ms. Marvel are similar because they both have good intentions and are of the few depictions of Muslim characters in comics. They differ because one is a hero and the other a villain, among other reasons.

One of the most interesting similarities between the two characters is that they serve as some of the very few depictions of comic characters of Muslim origins. Ra's Al Ghul is the Arabic translation for "Head of the demons". The new Ms. Marvel, known as Kamala Khan, is a Pakistani American Muslim girl from New Jersey.

Ms. Marvel and Ra's Al Ghul are both comic characters of Muslim origins, with perceivably good intentions behind what they do, but present many differences in age, gender, abilities, comic universe that they each belong to, and the fact that Ra's al Ghul is a villain meanwhile Ms. Marvel is considered a Superhero.
