Select the detail that explains how the Amazon River dolphin adapts to its habitat? As populations grow and humans move further into the Amazon in search of fish and other resources, these dolphins suffer. During the rainy season, the dolphins swim through the flooded forests of the Amazon and return to the main river once flooding has stopped. Many become entangled in fishermen's nets and die, while others have difficulty finding food because the flow of the river is interrupted by hydroelectric dams. Some scientists think the dolphin's pink skin is for camouflage in the murky water, while others believe it is because they get many scratches from fighting.
