History is a way to learn. It is a way to learn from our mistakes. It is a way to admire our good deeds. It is a way to honour those who lived to make our lives better. It is way to understand that everyone suffers in war. It is a way to learn that peace is the best policy.

It is not merely learning the dates and data of events, it is the learning of causes, characteristics and consequences of events. This knowledge help us is planning for future. It helps us determining what we should and should not do. Without knowing what has happened, we cannot plan what we want to happen.

That is why, history is important and will always be.
