Home country is typically known as the country in which someone was born and/or raised in. On the other hand, a foreign country is a country in which it is not the one someone lives in or is familiar with. A comparison of a home country and a foreign country could be that a person who was born in Germany, but either moved away to Canada or stayed in Germany. Either way, if they moved or not, Germany is their home country because it was where they were born. If they moved to Canada from Germany, all other countries would be foreign countries because they are not familiar with them, unless for example they traveled to Mexico frequently (almost considered a second place of residence), giving them a lot of information about the country. If they stayed in Germany, all other countries would be foreign countries, unless again they traveled to another country frequently, like Mexico, enough to learn a lot about the country. Home country and foreign country are different because most of the time, a person knows their home country much better than a foreign country, unless their home country was just where they were born, but not raised. Personally, I do not think one term should be used more than the other because the terms have quite different meanings. In specific situations, I think they could be used interchangeably, but in most situations they are not.

there on the beach was a struggling turtle. around its bright green neck was a loop of soda can rings. in order to the planet, i have made a few changes to my life. the first change is reducing the number of straws used. the second change was to recycle. finally, i have worked hard to clean up litter. it is important to clean our ocean.

you may not think straws have a large impact but they do. imagine for every straw you sip out of a poor, , adorable turtle is being harmed. one way i chipped in to is by using metal straws. these straws are reusable and inexpensive. another change is simply turning down straws. by refusing a straw, i’m the turtles one drink at a time.

however, the ocean just doesn't have turtles. there are lots of creatures that live there and are harmed by all the litter. to prevent litter from growing it’s important to recycle. for me, i have started to buy most goods that are made out of recycled material. pura vidas, chacos, purses, and too many other items to even count. plus, when you buy those products they give money to charities. not only am i the environment, but i’m also feeling better about my self. finally, i have worked hard to clean up litter. it is important to clean our ocean.
