GaTHer RoUnD bOyS AnD gIrLS So grab your marmalade popcorn and avocado toast, and enjoy the thrilling tale of my victory! *Ahem*

One day as I was flying across the grand canyon when I noticed a strange opening in-between some of the licorice stalks. I told the whale flying the jet to pull over so I could check it out. As we landed in the middle of some purple mud I got out and took a bite of the licorice, it was disgusting! The flavor was a horrible salmon but the monkey dragons on the other side of the canyon liked it so I tossed them a piece. They told me their names were Pickle, Ickle, and Fred. They said thanks for the candy and wished me luck as I walked through the opening full of green smoke. There was a witch! Her name was Oggly Woggly and she was covered in gross brown hair that at first I thought she was an ape! So I gave her my spare razor and ate some cottage cheese lollipops while she took a shower and shaved. When she came back she asked for more free stuff but I told her I didn't have any, she got really mad. She tied me to a chair and started creating a booger flavored potion to poison me! Id never been more scared in my life till I saw her alligator ferret sleeping in a corner. I discreetly called it over and it quickly chewed through the ropes. I jumped up and poured the potion over Oggly Woggly, grabed my razor and flew away on Pickle, Ickle and Fred, saving the grand the grand canyon once and for all!

The end.

Ineed . read the passage, and choose the three (3) inferences that are most firmly based on the given information. your sister has a new boyfriend. the first time you meet him, he corners you and talks to you for an hour about football, a subject in which you have no interest at all. you come away with the impression that he is an inconsiderate bore. the next two times you see him, however, he says not a word about football. he participates in the general conversation and makes some witty and intelligent remarks. what is your impression of him now? do you find him likable and interesting on the basis of the last two encounters? do you average out the early minus and the later plus and come out with a neutral zero? neither is likely. what is likely is that you still think of him as an inconsiderate bore. psychological research suggests that first impressions, as our mothers and fathers told us, are quite lasting. 1. the words “neutral zero” refer to an impression that is positive. 2. the words “neutral zero” refer to an impression that is neither positivenor negative. 3. the selection suggests that it’s a good idea to make good firstimpressions. 4. the selection suggests that it can be difficult to remain objective aboutothers. 5. first impressions tend to be fair and balance
