Choose a historical event and explain how it inspired or affected one of the literary works you read in Unit 2. Prepare a slideshow presentation that includes a thesis statement and key ideas that support your thesis. At least one slide should
include passages from the literary work that support your thesis. A works-cited list on the final slide should document

Develop and record an audio script to accompany your slideshow. Your script should have a concluding statement that
restates your thesis and sums up the main points in your slideshow.
Your slideshow and script will be part of a collaborative group project, if you are able to collaborate. Use the rubric to
evaluate your work and work contributed by other members of your group.
