Create an Outline Activity Type: Creation of Outline
The goal of this activity is to create a speech outline.
Your Task: You will create an outline.
What you need to do?
1. Please read the entire activity before you begin.
2. First you need to pick a topic. It'll be good to pick a topic on any subject that interests you.
3. Then build an outline of a speech to deliver that topic. You can either manually write your outline in a book or create it in P
the Public Speaking course for a quick recap.
4. Your outline must at the minimum have the following parts
Introduction - Please include at least the topic title, purpose, and duration of the speech
- Body - Please include at least three main points. You are welcome to include further subpoints
. Conclusion - Please include at least summary, question and answer (Q&A), and ending sections.
"Please do not flesh out any content in the outline. Keep it as the blueprint or wireframe of the speech.
5. Review your outline against the following rubric based on which you will be evaluated.
6. Upload your outline to the dropbox when you are ready to submit.
