Here is a full story from a short story I wrote! The Secret Friend It was a beautiful friday and Jack was in school. It was lunch and Jack was sitting by himself because he was mad at his friends. Suddenly a cute girl came up to him and sat with him. “Why are you sitting all by yourself jack?” she asked. “Because I am mad at my friends and how do you know my name? I have never seen you before?” Jack asked. She told Jack that her name was Jackie and that if he wanted she could be his secret friend. Jack ignored that she didn’t answer how she knew him and agreed. They promised to keep it a secret. Later that day Jackie came out of nowhere and scared Jack. “Wanna come over to my house later Jack? We could play some of our favorite games?” Jackie asked Jack. “Sure.” he said. After school Jack went to Jackie’s house but when he got there the house looked like no one lived there but he didn’t care and thought maybe her parents died. Jackie and Jack played hide and seek a few times and then Jack decided to go home. On monday Jack was sitting with Jackie and was still really mad at his friends but he didn’t care because he had Jackie. Later Jackie asked Jack if he could come to the park with her so they could play together. Jack went home and told his dad he was going to hang out with a friend. “Who are you going to hang out with?” Jack’s dad asked. Jack ignored him so his father asked some of Jack’s friends so they followed Jack then went up to him to ask because they didn’t see anyone there. “Hey Jack.” one of his friends said. “What you guys know I am still mad at you!” Jack said in a mad voice but his friends quickly apologized to Jack. “We are sorry Jack we just wanted to know who you gonna be hanging out with here?” one of his friends asked. “It is a girl she is 12 and has blonde hair and her name is Jackie she goes to our school.” Jack said in a more calm voice. “Jack, we have never seen a Jackie in our school and there is no one named Jackie in our school dude! Are you sure that you are hanging out with a PERSON!” one friend asked and then they all ran away from him. Jack went home that night wondering who he was hanging out with. Who was Jackie? Where did she come from? Is Jackie real? Is Jackie fake?
