Geography's two main branches are physical geography and human geography. They have key similarities and differences. Despite their differences, they work together to solve problems. For example, if a city needed to build a new bridge, human geographers could tell city officials how many people might use the bridge. Physical geographers would tell the officials about the surrounding environment and how to build a strong bridge. Explain the difference between a physical geographer and human geographer (See 1.2.1 Study pg. 4 for help). Which type of geographer would you most like to be? Explain.
