If you triple four and subtract two each day how many days until you have zero

If you triple 4, that would be 12. Then if you subtract 2 every day it would take 6 days.

if you tripe 4 :

4 x 3 = 12 - 2 = 10 - 2 = 8 - 2 = 6 - 2 = 4 - 2 - 2 = 0 
(the darker numbers are your days)
so your answer is 6 days 

how many bold number are there 6 so it is 6 days 

Then what do i do after i read the excerpt? i’m not really understanding the question here.
