I will choose as my topic getting ready for work. In my line of work, I am self-employed so I have quite a bit of say in how I approach my work. In preparing for my work, then, I will first think about the work and what it involves, ie visualize it, then I will make a list of things I need, ie including the tools I will need (ie geological hammer etc), the materials ie say sample bags and flagging to mark locations in the field, and the steps in carrying out the work keeping in mind the end result. Then I will make a list of all the materials and the work steps ie such as meet with the clients, and then do the fieldwork for example. Also, I will ensure I have all the permissions and authorizations needed to carry out my work without a hitch.
