A man of pride can be a description of the professor on Saboteur. It was the one that gets in his way of creating choices in his life. When he chose to make a scene during the incident with the policeman throwing tea at his foot, it was his pride that made things worse. It was a ploy to get him to be thrown to jail and he unknowingly did what the abusive police wanted in the first place. He refused to accept the deal in exchange for his freedom because he wanted to prove his innocence, even if it costs that his health would fail him. Instead of moving on with his life and finding cure for his sickness after he was freed, he chose to have revenge on everyone who had abused him not caring for all the innocents that died because of his careless plan.
