In "the rainy day" the rhyme and meter work together to give in poem

Meter is the concept that defines the pattern of the beats.  In the poem "The Rainy Day," both rhyme and meter work together to give the poem a simple, rhythmic sound.

i think it's either 'to expose the corruption of the communists in russia', or 'to criticize animal brutality by communists in russia.'
