vultures are good for the ecosystem. they clean up carcasses and other dead animals on land. they reduce the spread of diseases, vultures have a digestive system rare acid that will dissolve anthrax, botulism, and cholera bacteria. they also clean up things that died in water such as reptiles, amphibians, and fish. in spite of proving such a necessary contribution to the ecosystem vultures are in danger of extinction. diclofenac is lethal to the vultures, conservation action have eventuate to eliminate the drug unfortinutley it's still being sold illegally. vultures are fundemental for the ecosystem unlike other birds, vultures don’t hunt living prey, but react as scavengers feeding on the carcasses of the dead animals. vultures do play a big role in keeping our ecosystem healthy. animal journalist said “this is not a species that we can live without”. they keep our ecosystem healthy and clean.
