Wdyt, good or not? First, the basic understanding of what a carnivore, herbivore, and what a omnivore is. Carnivores eat meat, Herbivores eat plants, Omnivores eat meat and plants.

What populations will need to be the largest or the smallest in the ecosystem. Plants (Which are producers) are the largest, considering they make their own food. Next, carnivores, which are the dominate predator in the ecosystem should be the smallest because they die naturally, and don't have any real predator to kill them off, and if their population is to big, they will kill off the rest of the ecosystem.

If a group of hunters kills half of the rabbit population. How will the other organisms be affected? The herbivore population (the rabbits) will be significantly lower, so their will be fewer to eat the plants, so the plant population will grow substantially. But the carnivores will be the same amount, and possibly more than the herbivore, and this is dangerous for the rabbits, the carnivores may kill off all the rabbits.

Imagine disease kills 85 percent of the wolf population. How will the other organisms be affected? There will be more herbivores and fewer plants, there will be more herbivores because the carnivore population is lower, the herbivore will reproduce more, and eat more plants, causing less plants to grow in the ecosystem.

Imagine a foreign mountain lion species is introduced into the ecosystem. How will the other organisms be affected? Organisms would get their another or their own predator based if they want small or large prey, but this can also be a problem because added to the already current carnivore population, you are adding MORE carnivores, and this could be a bad thing because the mountain lions can kill off the herbivores.
