This assertion supports the thesis statement as it opens up an alternative approach, in which students can be brought into classes through motivation. Studies have shown that rewards can motivate students to go to school. Examples used in the paragraph are. It supports affirmation by giving a way to how students need motivation with rewards, which in turn gets them to go to school and get more learning. Chloe Hughes, a 15-year-old high school student from Bradford, was used as an explanation for the above study example. The reader understands the explanation and strengthens the example written by the author as it provides evidence aligned with the example. This is because Hughes agrees that having money at the weekend will get students to go to school and focus on their studies, rather than being on the street or getting a separate job.​
