Read the excerpt from Julius Caesar in Act V. Titinius: (To Cassius, as he leaves to check on the situation) I will be here again even with a thought.

Announcer 1: But Cassius thinks the war is lost.

Cassius: (To Pindarus) Come hither, sirrah. In Parthia did I take thee prisoner. Now be a freeman, and with this good sword, that ran through Caesar's bowels, search this bosom. (He gives the sword to Pindarus.) Here, and when my face is covered, as tis now, (He covers his face with his cloak.) guide thou the sword. (Pindarus stabs him, and Cassius sags to the ground, gasping.) Caesar, thou art revenged, even with the sword that killed thee. (Pindarus runs off.)

Based on the excerpt, why does Cassius ask Pindarus to stab him?

Cassius feels guilty about killing Caesar.

He is too cowardly to fight with Octavius and Antony.

Cassius would rather die than be captured.

The ghost of Caesar convinces him to end his life.
