In the Florida school shooting that happened last Februrary, photojournalism affected the way that I understood the event and its aftermath by having the students from the school talk about it on their social media created for the school and at school. Journalists also had input on the event, as well as live updates about what was happening. You can see the journalists asking students, faculty, and police about the event as well as pictures from the scene. It gave me a better sense of what happened and it also gave me more information about what happened with the event and how it affected the lifes of others.
