What are some positive effects of the Industrial Revolution?

Thanks to the industrial revolution, Not only did machines make life easier, but nations grew stronger. Jobs created, innovations made, and inventions formed. The industrial revolution was a large turning point in history, due to this, today's successes and strengths are very much owed to the industrial revolution.  

Some of the positive effects of the Industrial Revolution were massive improvements in manufacturing and distribution processes, which allowed more goods to be manufactured and shipped more easily.
