Choose your favorite well-known movie or book. Pretend you are the villain in the story and retell the whole story from his/her perspective. For example, instead of from Ariel’s perspective, retell the story we know as “The Little Mermaid” from the perspective of Ursula. Maybe Ursula was Triton’s big sister and the rightful heir to the sea throne? Remember, no one thinks they’re guilty…so make your villain likable and innocent, or at least have his/her actions seem justified.
