i'm brazilian and i do not speak english, so i'm sorry for my bad grammar: /

i have a question: when do i have to put the "to" behind a verb?
i see a lot of verbs that do not have the "to" behind it.
and also has verbs that have an "ing" at the end. why do i have to put
"ing" and not "to"?
