Logical fallacies are errors in reasoning that are based on poor or faulty logic. Two logical fallacies are a Strawman Argument and Appeal to Ignorance

Strawman Argument: of having the impression of refuting an argument, whereas the proper idea of argument under discussion was not addressed or properly refuted.

Appeal to Ignorance: It asserts that a proposition is true because it has not yet been proven false or a proposition is false because it has not yet been proven true.

"The term 'formal' refers to the structure of an argument and the branch of logic that is most concerned with structure—deductive reasoning. All formal fallacies are errors in deductive reasoning that render an argument invalid.
