"The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" LITERARY ELEMENT: MOOD
Although the author does not reveal the exact location of the family, the Mood
(emotions that you feel while you are reading) lets us know that it is not a
pleasant place. Some literature makes you feel sad, others joyful, still others,
angry. The mood of Chapter Three makes the reader feel uneasy. It is obvious
