Write an objective summary for “Salvador, Late or Early."

The short story, "Salvador, Late or Early", is about a young boy who has to take care of his younger brothers and is neglected by his own mother. Salvador is ignored at school, nobody talks to him, and even the teacher can barely remember his name. He lives in a bad neighborhood in a not- so- nice house. He gets his brothers ready and takes them to school. From what we can tell, Salvador is around the age of 6 or 7. He has been abused and hurt for such a long time. Salvador has a good heart and could have been a very happy little boy.
