Write a personal narrative about a difficult choice you had to make. Be sure that your narrative is focused and includes a thoughtful reflection.

Back in 3rd grade, I was in the cafeteria talking with my friends. It was the day before winter break, and everyone was bouncing off the walls with excitement. Then, my used-to-be friend turned to me and told me to slam my fist into the ketchup as hard as possible. At first, I disagreed with those actions, but before I knew it everyone next to me was begging me to do it. I was pressured into it, and I had 2 choices: Not to do it, or to do it and risk the consequences. I was too afraid that no one would like me if I did not, so I did. I slammed my fist into the ketchup packet, and it got everywhere. It landed on one of the kids, it splattered all over the table. The worst part was that it got on the roof as well. A teacher rushed over to my seat, grabbed my hand, and walked me over to the principles’ office. Looking back at an objective standpoint, I would not care if anyone did not like me. If I were not in any trouble, I would enjoy my lunch.
