Just as it seemed that his life was improving when he fell in love and got married, his beloved wife Virginia died of tuberculosis. Two years later, Edgar Allan Poe also died in mysterious circumstances. Based on what you know and have learned about Edgar Allan Poe’s life, do you think he relates to his deranged narrators?
