I need some ideas for a gothic story plot. the plot so far is (to sum it up):

a boy called Alex is travelling to a remote island in Scotland to see his grandfather who is an ex-biologist. Alex hears screams at night, and in the morning notices blood on the collar of his grandfathers shirt. whats more, he doesn't have an appetite.

Any ideas on how this can continue?
