2) the main goal of launching Perseverance (NASA's rover) is to search for signs of life.

Explanation

For some time, NASA has been trying to find evidence of life on Mars. According to the write-up, this will be the 9th mission to Mars.

3) The essential object which is aboard rover Perseverance is an autonomous helicopter named ingenuity that is about 1.8 kilograms. It will be performing test powered flight on Mars for the first time.  

4) As the rover descends onto Mars through space and Mars' atmosphere, it will have to overcome the heat generated from the friction between its surface and the planet's carbon dioxide-rich atmosphere.

This descent is estimated to take about 7 minutes and will also involve the deployment of parachutes that have been described as supersonic. This process will also involve the deployment of mini rocket engines that will aid it in landing gently onto the planet's surface.
