1. Ang suliraning bumabalot sa ating mga Pilipino ay hindi ang
kawalan ng sariling pagkakakilanlan. Bilang isang bayan, ipinagmamalaki
natin ang ating mayamang kultura at kalinangan. Ang palasak sa ating
lipunan ay ang kawalan ng pambansang kamalayan ng bawat
mamamayan. Ito ay mauugat natin sa tatlong daang taong pananakop ng
mga Espanyol at limang dekada ng Neokolonyalismo ng mga Amerikano.
Sumilang ang bagong Pilipino na walang pinanghahawakang malinaw na
pananaw sa kinabukasan at patutunguhan.​
