For the real story, Hans Christian Andersen's every step hurts, almost kills the prince's new wife, Goes to heaven, The Little Mermaid will turn to seafoam when she dies and has a grandmother. In the cartoon, the person who made it changed more than 5 things. But I only listed 5 because there are some of the more effective ones compared to the real story. The biggest change in the stories is that she dies and turns to seafoam. The smallest change from the 5 things listed is the mermaid has a name in the kid version in the real version she is called a mermaid EDIT IT ALL OF IT
