Why is it important to be prepared in order you won't struggle in life?

When you are prepared it will be more simple to solve your problems, like a fire drill. If you are not prepared for it you will die (unless you have very good luck) or like a test, when you prepare for a test you will most likely get a good grade but when you don't study be prepared for a bad grade.
