Please help I dont understand what im supposed to write. Reflect on how scientific inquiry is really a process of progressive refinement where scientists expand their understanding by building upon the findings of those that came before.

You're most likely supposed to write a paragraph or so on how the words "scientific inquiry" actually mean that scientists got through a process of expanding what they know by researching other scientists' work and expanding upon that work.
