Writing Fluency Assignment 2 Please help me!
you are going to complete a writing fluency assignment. Writing fluency is simply the ability to compose a thoughtful, clear summary, essay, or journal without a great deal of revision. High school students are often required to write essays for standardized tests and other assessments. Although formal writing assignments that require students to complete the writing process—prewriting, writing, revision—are essential, it is also important for students to be able to write short, clear documents that demonstrate a student’s critical thinking skills.
Remember that this is a critical thinking exercise. This assignment will require you to use two of the most basic critical thinking skills:
Analysis: Breaking apart or dissecting a whole into parts to discover how the parts work together, and what the function of each individual part is.
I examined this poem stanza by stanza." or "I sorted out all of the details of this story."
Logical Reasoning: Drawing inferences and making conclusions which are supported and justified by evidence.
This quote leads me to believe..." or "My rationale for this conclusion is supported by..."
For the writing fluency assignment, submit a response (minimum of 500 words) to the following question:
Why do you think Elie Wiesel named his book Night? What is the significance of night in the novel? Please refer to at least three events or passages from the novel as you answer this question.
