It is the weekend! However, you have just been informed by your parent/guardian that you will not be allowed to leave the house this weekend due to the amount of chores you need to complete. Type a 1 to 2 paragraph response in which you use all three appeals in order to convince your parent/guardian otherwise. Please highlight each one of the appeals you use in your writing before submitting. The highlight tool can be found at the top of the text box in the tool bar. Consider the following: What could you say to make them feel emotion? How can you prove your credibility or reliability as a son/daughter to them? What hard evidence can you provide in order to change their mind? Keep in mind, if you need to bend reality or stretch the truth to make this work, that is fine.
