Conclusion paragraph: To sum it up, many bad choices made by teens can be
traced back to the images presented in commercials.
Though not all commercials create unrealistic
expectations for a teen to live up to, a majority of them do.
Therefore, teens are more likely to make damaging
choices because commercials have convinced them that
they can't have self-worth or be accepted unless they eat,
drink, and purchase the "right" products. But the solution is
simple: With less TV time, adult role models will have more
time to speak directly to teens about realistic lifestyles and
encourage them to make wise choices.
Which statement best explains the effectiveness of the conclusion
paragraph?
A. The conclusion is ineffective because it presents conflicting
information that leaves the author's true beliefs unclear.
B. The conclusion is effective because it restates the essay's main
idea and provides a powerful ending statement.
O c. The conclusion is ineffective because it restates a point already
made in the thesis statement, creating unnecessary repetition
O D. The conclusion is effective because it brings up new ideas that the
reader is unlikely to have considered

This excerpt is from “the poet” by alfred, lord tennyson. the poem describes a poet's consciousness and perception. which three lines suggest the richness of a poet's thoughts? thus truth was multiplied on truth, [the world like one great garden show'd,] and thro' the wreaths of floating dark upcurl'd, rare sunrise flow'd. [and freedom rear'd in that august sunrise] her beautiful bold brow, when rites and forms before his burning eyes melted like snow. [there was no blood upon her maiden robes] sunn'd by those orient skies; but round about the circles of the globes of her keen eyes and in her raiment's hem was traced in flame wisdom, a name to shake [all evil dreams of power--a sacred name.] and when she spake, [her words did gather thunder as they ran,] and as the lightning to the thunder which follows it, riving the spirit of man, making earth wonder, so was their meaning to her words. no sword of wrath her right arm whirl'd, [ but one poor poet's scroll, and with 'his' word] she shook the world.
