The rain fell outside my window, I realized deep inside I had a pit I needed to fill. That gesture I rejected.. why? The rain made me reflect; think about what I did all that time ago. I felt weary; maybe even nostalgic. I felt my eyes fall heavy as I glanced at my window. The rain sounded as though it was speaking to me. I could hear it whining, telling me its story. Sometimes  I feel as though even though I'm speaking, nobody's listening. The rain made me feel safe, we could relate to eachother.

The rain fell outside my window, I realized that it wasn't something to be sad about. Sure, I couldn't go outside and enjoy myself. But the plants surrounding me are being nourished right now because of the rain. If it weren't for this momentary discomfort, I wouldn't be capable of going outside later and enjoying my surroundings. I am happy about the rain. Because it gives life. And later on it will give me happiness because of the beautiful things it caused.
