If they have been injured, don’t move them unless they are not safe where they are sitting or lying (such as in the middle of the street). Attempt to stop bleeding by applying a clean cloth to the area, raising the wound above the heart, and applying steady pressure. Call 9-1-1 in case of a true emergency.
