Sulekah had been referred to as Bholi as she was a little  behind her peer group in her mental attributes owing to a part of her brain been damaged due to a fall when she was ten months old. She also deserves the honour for her wisdom and her sensibility and obligation in supporting her parents in their old age

.Valli’s deepest desire was to undertake a bus ride at least once. Her desire to experience a bus ride was realized by systematic and organised planning. She had collected all the useful information by observing and planning and making discreet inquiries about the time of the bus, the duration of the journey as well as the fare. She was focused and saved every penny to finance her trip and finally accomplished it by efficient execution of her plans. Valli embodied characteristics of spunk and strategic approach in achieving her desire, though she was only a small girl of eight. Thus, the lessons throwlight on the value of freedom and education is important for the growth of civilization and humanism.
