Many years ago, the Inuit people who lived in the north never had any daylight. Crow would travel back and forth from the north and south. He would tell the Inuit people of the daylight and how much brighter and better it made the world. The Inuit people begged Crow to bring back some of the daylight on his next journey south. Crow traveled and found a young child in a village in the south. He told the child he wanted to play catch with the sunlight. The child went inside a hut and returned with a ball of sunlight, which the child tossed at Crow. Crow tricked the child and stole the ball of sunlight and flew away. He returned to the Inuit and dropped the ball on the ground, which exploded letting the sunlight out. Since then, the Inuit have been able to enjoy sunlight half of the year and darkness the rest. a crow has dropped a ball of light on a sunny landscape. The Inuit people stand below the crow and beside the ball. They are waving to the crow to thank him
