Check with your teacher for instructions on how to submit your presentation. Your presentation should
• have an introduction with a thesis statement
• effectively sell the product
• use visual aids to help persuade the audience
• have a delivery that connects with the audience—eye contact, expression, style, tone of voice, and gestures
Once you’ve delivered your presentation, evaluate how you did. Read the questions in the first column of the table below. In the second column, write sentences evaluating your presentation.

What are the three module vocabulary words you used?
Did I begin with an attention-grabber that pulled my audience in?
Did I use the kind of information that was of particular interest to my audience and pay attention to their needs, including clarity, directness, engagement, brevity, and explanations and/or illustrations?
Did I include a thesis statement—that people should buy my product—in my introduction?
Did I include enough information about my product while presenting my claims and findings to give the audience a clear idea?
Did I use pertinent descriptions, facts, and details to accentuate the main idea and avoid contradictory information or confusion?
Did I clearly state the benefits of my product?
Did I clearly name my product and tell people how they could buy it?
Did my conclusion include another statement urging people to buy my product?
Did my conclusion repeat one or two of the key benefits of my product?
Did I sequence my ideas logically and use transitions from one thought to the next?
Did I maintain eye contact with my audience?

Did I use gestures and movements effectively?
Did I speak loudly enough?
